Sustainability

#IlNostroImpegnoPerIlPianeta

CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility - for us is the commitment to assume responsible, fair and equitable behavior, which takes into account the economic, social and environmental repercussions of our work.

Every year Tiba invests in CSR shares, convinced of the fact that there is a positive return from these activities in which it is essential to involve all company levels, so as to spread the culture of responsibility from Top Management to all employees. By offering our customers sustainable fabrics, taking care of the community in which we operate while respecting the environment.

We adopt the circular economy model, the model that by definition eliminates waste, in which the value of resources, products and assets is maintained throughout their life cycle for as long as possible, minimizing waste. We have therefore implemented the paradigm shift with respect to the economic model "production - consumption - waste" (in English "take, make, dispose"), which instead has a composition based on the linearity of processes.

In the linear economy model, resources are taken from nature, used in production processes, consumed during the use of products and lost as waste into the environment through atmospheric emissions, waste disposal.

The circular economy model denotes our modus operandi and our fabrics respond to the principles of sustainability.

CERTIQUALITY ISO 9001

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Global Recycle Standard

CERTIQUALITY ISO 9001 (REGULATION 2015, Certificate ~ 10 companies out of 10000); the production phase provides for the exclusion of any type of substance classified as harmful to the health of consumers and takes place in full compliance with the environment, safety parameters and quality standards. Taking advantage of what has been achieved in the past and with an eye towards the future, today we can provide you with truly innovative fabrics, in line with the most current production standards.

CERTIQUALITY is an organization at the service of companies accredited for the certification of company management systems for quality, environment, safety and product certification.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 is an independent control and certification system for the entire textile world from raw materials, to semi-finished products and finished products at all stages of processing.

The Global Recycle Standard is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector.

The standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of the consumption of resources (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products.

The GRS provides for the release of an environmental declaration verified by a third party that ensures the content of recycled materials of their products, both intermediate and finished, the maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process, restrictions on the use of chemicals and compliance with environmental and social criteria.
